If her stress were a wool sweater, it was as if a thread was stuck somewhere in the city and the further she traveled, the more the sweater came undone. Of course cities had their benefits, but the bustling holiday season could be taxing for most people, let alone a werewolf. Needless to say, a break from the commotion was definitely needed.

Dressed snuggly, Wind stared out the passenger’s side window and idly sipped a can of Dr. Pepper. Pure snow blanketed the hills, trees, and mountains for miles in all directions as she smiled to herself. She shared her warm grin with her husband, Dart, who gently guided the car around a short bend in the road. He returned the smile before returning his eyes to the road. Without a doubt, there was no place they’d rather be than wherever they were together; except for their destination, of course.

Werewolves tend to be a very private creature, seldom exposing critical behaviors to their survival. Courtship has been a long standing unknown in this matter, so show us some of the ways a werewolf might attract another! Happy Valentines day!

Reminder: all submissions to monthly theme challenges must be mentioned in the art description, and linked back to the group

RULES

All submissions must have to do with the theme and werewolves.

All mediums are accepted (art, literature, craft, etc.)

No pre-exsisting art pieces allowed. They must be made specifically for the theme challenge, and stated so in the artist comments.

Submissions MUST follow the group rules.

All levels of skill are welcome!

Unlimited submissions allowed.

You must submit your deviation before 11:59pm EST on the last day of the month to be in the running! We should be able to choose a winner by the first of next month, when we'll also announce that month's theme challenge!

Pieces will be judged primarily on creativity/originality and technique. The more effort you put into your piece, the better your chances are of winning!

The best piece submitted in this challenge will receive a 1-month feature on our front page! Getting your work publicized to dA's most dedicated werewolf fans!
